Life Coach
Florida-born, Michigan raised, and shaped into manhood in Miami, my life experiences have given me a broad and grounded perspective on identity, resilience, and community. Prior to attending Florida Memorial University, I was actively involved in the performing arts at the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre, appearing in productions such as A Raisin in the Sun, Footloose, A Woman Called Truth, and Inherit the Wind. These early experiences strengthened my voice, emotional awareness, and ability to connect with diverse audiences-skills that continue to influence my leadership, mentorship, and professional work.
I am a graduate of Florida Memorial University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Broadcasting Communications with a minor in Psychology. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Northcentral University, with a specialization in Child and Adolescent therapy, an academic path that reflects both my professional goals and personal calling.
I serve as the first president of the Kalamazoo Youth Commission, where I worked directly with county commissioners to address systemic challenges impacting youth in the community. In this role, I helped elevate youth voices, advocated for equitable access to resources, and collaborated with local leadership to identify actionable strategies to better meet the needs of young people across Kalamazoo County.
I am a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity, Inc., and previously served as Polemarch of the Epsilon Mu Chapter at Florida Memorial University. My leadership experiences within the fraternity reinforced my commitment to mentorship, accountability, and service-particularly to young men navigating complex personal and social challenges.
In 2025, I entered the entrepreneurial space as a one-third owner of A Global Homecare Adult Foster Care, further expanding my work at the intersection of mental health, care systems, and community impact. This venture aligns with my broader mission of creating environments that promote stability, dignity, and healing for individuals and families.
Guiding young men is not simply an interest of mine, it is a calling. It is a responsibility many avoid because of the depth, patience, and emotional labor required to uncover hidden trauma. Too often, young men do not recognize their experiences as trauma because it has been normalized as just life. I understand this deeply, having navigated every phase of life the hard way. I know firsthand how unresolved pain can quietly shape behavior, decisions, and relationships.
My heart's desire is to reach as many young men as possible before unresolved trauma turns into chaos that affects their lives and the lives of others. Breaking generational cycles requires intentional intervention, honest dialogue, and trusted bridges to healing. I am committed to being one of those bridges.
Above all, my journey has been sustained by faith in God and the strength of my support system people who carried me when I could not carry myself. As a young father, I was driven by the desire to be better than what I knew, even before I fully understood what that meant. Today, that understanding fuels my purpose: to engage, empower, and walk alongside young men so they do not have to travel their path alone.
